What is COPD?

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), is a group of chronic inflammatory lung diseases that cause blockage in the airflow and difficulties in breathing. The common lung diseases among this group include emphysema and chronic bronchitis. It is estimated that about 30 million people in the U.S suffer from COPD, but more than half of them are unaware of it.
