Rose Hernandez
Rose Hernandez is a board-certified Bilingual Family Nurse Practitioner.
She began her career in healthcare as a paramedic in 2001. Early on she
discovered her purpose and mission in life was to help the sick and
vulnerable.
She then obtained an Associate of Science in Nursing from College of
DuPage in 2006, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Benedictine
University in 2016.
Rose further advanced her career and pursued a Master of Science in
Nursing from Olivet Nazarene University in 2019 and holds a national
certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as
a family nurse practitioner.
Rose is fluent in both Spanish and English and her passion has been
working with underserved communities of homebound seniors in Cook,
DuPage, and Will counties. Her specialty is health promotion and
management of chronic illnesses such as diabetes, and hypertension.
Most recently, Rose worked within her community at an urgent care clinic
treating patients of all age groups with acute illnesses and emergencies
requiring sutures, and immediate interventions.
